I'm a senior at Liberty High School in Texas. Going into my third year in high school, I've had my fair share of experiences, which have ultimately molded me into the individual I am today.
I am a social entrepreneur as the CEO and co-founder of Groundify LLC (www.groundify.org).
I have had the opportunity to be serving as the Texas State Committee Chair for the Texas Model United Nations program while competing as a delegate for 3 years. As part of the Model UN organization, I’ve been able to develop vital professional skills including networking, public speaking, and leadership.
I'm also a Tenor Saxophonist. In addition to serving as the president for the Liberty High School Band Program, wherein I receive the unique opportunity of overseeing the logistical operations of the program, I am passionate about musical performance, leading me to achieve heights in various musical competitions. I have had the honor to be a part of various TMEA All-Region Bands in my middle school and high school career while also having the opportunity to perform classical saxophone repertoire in New York, USA, Sydney, Australia, and Vienna, Austria. Music, being an important part of my life, has taught me the philosophy of leadership while developing my skills of communication and patience.
Through these unique experiences, I have developed a strong mindset and skillset which will allow me to pursue the topic of Social Entrepreneurship and Impact Investing within the ISM Program. Driven by the development, funding, and implementation of entrepreneurial solutions for social impact, I am excited about the opportunity to pair impact investing with entrepreneurial ventures committed to delivering sustainable solutions to persistent issues.

Mission Statement
Through the Independent Study and Mentorship Program, I strive to further my knowledge in regards to Social Entrepreneurship and Impact Investing. In addition to gaining valuable knowledge, I aspire to utilize my entrepreneurial acumen to pursue a social entrepreneurship project in which I will be able to incorporate the field of impact investing, positively impacting our community. I will challenge myself by learning about innovative developments in my field while expanding my skill set. While pursuing an individual learning pathway, I will work under the guidance of a mentor, allowing me to utilize my inventive mindset, proactive attitude, and persevering nature to develop a constructive final product. In addition to demonstrating a vast set of positive characteristics throughout the course of this program, I hope to gain valuable experience and learn lessons to become a Social Entrepreneur and Impact Investor.
